Submissions

ENGAGE BOOKS™ is currently accepting submissions of science fiction stories for our imprint Engage SF. While we will consider all submissions of a speculative nature, preference will be given to stories with compelling characters, ideas and events that keep our staff turning pages. Submit your full length novel (60,000 to 100,000 words) or short story (5,000 to 7,500 words) to our submissions section.

We are currently working on our first short story anthology. This 'strictly science fiction' anthology will be published in a unique way. Each author will receive royalty payments for their story rather than an up front payment, which is usually pretty small. This will give each author a stake in the success of this anthology, and provide a payment system that is generally only available to published novels.

When submitting a manuscript, please keep in mind that we are only accepting science fiction novels, and short stories at this time. If you own the rights to a modern classic novel from the likes of Ernest Hemingway, George Orwell or John Steinbeck, then please contact us. Otherwise, we are not accepting general works of fiction at this time.
